PIR-CLEF 2017 is exploring the development of a framework for the evaluation of Personalised Information Retrieval (PIR). PIR 2017 provides a pilot task to explore this proposed framework for evaluation of PIR, which will form the basis of a workshop to be held within the CLEF 2017 Conference. CLEF 2017 will be held from the 11st to the 14th September 2017, in Dublin, Ireland.
The PIR-CLEF 2017 workshop will focus on the definition of a laboratory-based IR evaluation method for personalised search to be used in full CLEF PIR laboratory within the CLEF 2018 evaluation campaign.
